Potato Pack-Houses

Arafa has more than one packhouse and that is due its increasing number of farms around Egypt and for the abandance of production.

Manase pack-house:

• Located in Kafr El Zayat city in Behira Governerate.
• It has a production capacity of 15000 tons.

Al Motaheda Packhouse:

• Located also in Kafr el Zayat city Behira Governerate.

Arafa pack-house:

• Located in town of Atrees city in Giza Governerate.
• It has a production capacity of 5000 tons of potatoes

Bashayer ElKhair pack-house:

• Located in Wasta city in Minya Governerate.
• It has a storage capacity of 25000 tons.

Potatoes Cold Stores: 

Due to the increasing demand on Arafa`s potato varieties, it was necessary to increase the storage capacity as well. In 2003 our coldstores capacity was 5000 tons in 4 big chambers specially for Lady Rosetta and Hermes potatoes varieties. to be dublicated by 2009 to reach 12,000 tons becoming one of the biggest coldstore for processing potatoes in Egypt .
